From Romania to Bulgaria...

Hello from Polsko Kosovo, Bulgaria !

A new counry visited, a vew currency to use, new people to discover... and a new slavic language which mixes some kind of Serbian, Russian, and sometimes Romanian...
We caount like in Serbia here, we say hello like in Russia, and we say thanks like in Romania or France...

Anyway, since i waz in Brasow using Internet a lot, i nevertheness did some more touristical activities like going to the castle of Bran and to the hill from where you can see the whole city center of Brasov !

I also met Iulia for a drink, and then she drove me to her village, Cornu, North of Ploiesti, where i was hosted too and where we went for a walk to a brand new orthodox monastere build on the top of the hill.

On Friday I drove 100 km to reach Bucharest, in the afternoon, and arrived there before night. After a few calls, late appointments and un expected visit, I ended up at Gabi's place when i was supposed to stay with George and joint Gabi only on Saterday.

Friday evening was a meeting with lots of people from the city and also visitors, and i found there 3 people i had met in Krakow, Poland, in May, plus one French guy who's girlfriend lives now in Betton, I&Vilaine...

On Saterday i slept quite a lot, then went shopping and prepaired langos as per Zsuzsanna's instructions kept from Baja. And the result was quite ok after 3 or 4 bad chaped ones.... Scarlett, the Duch friend of Gabriela who had staid with me and Gabi in Riga, Lithuania, in June, arrived in the afternoon and we are so much that... 2 meals a day was ok for this day !

In the evening we went back to the city center, the old part kept from the moment when Romania was a very advanced country, in betweek the 2 world wars. We met a Romanian friend of Gabi, then found Goerge and his housemates in a pub. The group of Gabi did not party until the end of the night and went back home where the atmosphere with Gabi's flatmates was a bit electric.

On Sunday the same group (Gabi's) went for a walk and a visit to the palace of Mogosoaia.
And in the Evening, as I and Gabi prepaired food again, Scarlett went for studdying as she had a work to do which was given just before she flew for 1 week's holliday.
On my side i met up with George again to catch some CDs to learn Russian... yes i will try....
The evening was also spent to chat with Adela, one of the flatmates of Gabi who finally talked to us after a few explanations, and was actuelly really talkative and funny.

On Monday, after a great breakfast, i took my courage to get out of Bucharest by bike, which was a bit of a sport activity ! I got lost a few times then found the way to the Bulgarian border.
Just before the border, in Giurgiu, i had a look at the ruines of an old Otoman castle, then crosse the friendship bridge, and met my German host, Heidi, in front of university.

We had a really pleasant evening with 2 of her German friends plus 3 french guys including a traveler and 2 students in electronics with Erasmus program in Ruse. And guess what, bothe from I&Vilaine !
After eating in a restaurant for the equivalent of 3.5 E includint a bear and a pizza, we baught some bottles of red wine from Ruse and went to Heidi's place to enjoy them and spend a good time speaking English and French together with German... and Bulgarian of course !

Today Tuesday i visited Ruse with Heidi in the morning then took the bike to come here, and had a bit of some hurry ayt the end as the night was arriving around 5pm, and the road had been closed for renovation on some parts, and had added around 15 km to my plans, which added time and made me arrive nearly in the darkness.
I now write to you ad the whole family is at the theatre, ans as i had the mission to keep the house, and shut the fire under the boiled eggs...
