Kotor to Dubrovnik (, and back... to Bar later) !

After my time in Sutomore, starts an episode of 'hostels' life.

In Kotor 1st, i staid for 2 nights in a place held by 2 sisters.
On the 1st evening i was together with a couple of cyclists traveling with their 2,5 year old daughter and who had started from Scotland, to go to India in 15 months.

We had a nice evening together and they left to go to Budvar when i staid in the hostel to waif for the rain to stop... but anyway decided to go for a walk under the rain in the city and up its fortified hill.

On this rainy day a Spanish priest living and teaching in Albania joined me, and later in the day 6 Erasmus from Thessaloniki, Greece. The hostel got full of life when... a 3 hour electricity breakdown caught us !
Time for siesta, then time to play a bit together then... the young team went out to disco as there was a special carnival evening. I did not join...

This hostel was 11E per night.


On Sunday, i left the place and had a beautiful day to ride up to Dubrovnik. I remembered the days of September with Franou on the Croatian coast, and the wild camping evenings, but did not go for it. Quite cold and rainy these days...
I arrived in the fortified city and went for a quick tour in town as the weather was splendid and i knew it would not last, then found a hostel. 85 Kuna per night. I decided to stay for 2 nights, and even if i am in a building... i can tell you i caught a cold ! 1st time in 10 month... respect to Dubrovnik !

This morning after a night spent with difficulties to breath, i went back to the city center to walk around and get lost in the old town. Really nice ! But wet again ar the rain was back. I could also change my note of 20KM from Bosnia, some Euros to pay the accommodation, and... buy supplied to eat once back at the hostel.

The rest of the afternoon went spending time on the Internet and planning the rest of the trip.

I should finally go back to Montenegro (with a stop in the hostel of Budvar then maybe back to Sutomore) to catch a ferry from Bar to Bari, then start my Italian time with, hopefully, better weather !
